For the Tech Crew i made a number of posters but now 2 year on i can't help but think they need to be updated.

To learn how to draw I find that I have to copy someone else. after copying enough people you start to mix and match to make your own style. In this case I drew my version of this album cover.


and I ended up with images that looked like this. It's awesome. These images will be printed out and put on a cake later.

Batman Cake

Over the years I have "favourited" many little odds and ends of You Tube videos. Here is one that I like but possibly not for the same reasons you may like it. My dad owns a shop where he sells the tools to make cakes many of the tools in this video are sold in my dad's shop. Decorative cake making doesn't get as much press as it really should do. It's very time consuming and when you realise what goes behind making a simple wedding cake you understand the massive price tag that often goes with it.

Here is another clip I made for myself. its fun to play with adobe after effect but the more I learn the more I know that my wee little computer is not totally up for the job.
