Little Stick men

Every now and then i get a bit board on the Bus i try to draw but the issue is that i can't draw as well because London isn't precisely smooth. So I tried drawing a variant of stick figures.

So it's late about 11:30pm. I'm with good friends and good alcohol. It's not my normal social group so there is a couple of new faces I don't recognise. I then throw some of the guys the book "The Bro Code" being fans of the show How I Meet Your Mother the guys sat around the rest of the night and was reading it while keeping up with conversations. Anyway the topic turned to a friend of mine and how it's hard for her to find a boyfriend because she is quite religious and thus believes in no sex before marriage.

It is at this point on of the drunk person reading the Bro Code yells out "Challenge Accepted!". I pointed out that it was a daft idea, but he ended up yelling out louder. So I use another reference from the show HIMYM and issue a slap bet.

The bet is as follows...
Within 12 months he has to have sex with this girl or he will get slapped 3 times by me

but obviously if he does win he get to slap me.

I don't think I'm going to lose because she is graduating this year.
Also I already told her about the bet.

Next day I text a friend asking her to remind him of the slap bet. He now claims this is the worst think he as ever done drunk.

The moral of the story is this: Never set up a challenge with me no matter how stupid it is at the time unless you can follow it through and never think that I will forget about it in 12 months.

To learn how to draw I find that I have to copy someone else. after copying enough people you start to mix and match to make your own style. In this case I drew my version of this album cover.


and I ended up with images that looked like this. It's awesome. These images will be printed out and put on a cake later.

Batman Cake

Over the years I have "favourited" many little odds and ends of You Tube videos. Here is one that I like but possibly not for the same reasons you may like it. My dad owns a shop where he sells the tools to make cakes many of the tools in this video are sold in my dad's shop. Decorative cake making doesn't get as much press as it really should do. It's very time consuming and when you realise what goes behind making a simple wedding cake you understand the massive price tag that often goes with it.

well here is a vid I made with the notion of doing each month in one min. It seem to be something I should have put up on this blog a while back but better late than never.
